With spring around the corner here in the Midwest, not much sounds better than the idea of getting kids playing outside. LITE-BRIGHT Updated With LED Lights [Toy Fair 2011]

The Hasbro LITE-BRITE isn’t normally associated with kid’s tech, but the new products for 2011 are interesting in that they’re getting design overhauls to make them more tablet-like, with elements that are clearly pulled from the Apple iPhone and iPad. Beyond the design changes though, the LITE-BRITE line gets LED lights, new stay-put pegs and better systems to hold design sheets and extra pegs in place.
