LeapFrog has announced 14 new game titles for their popular portable gaming systems for kids. Many of the new games are based on movie releases like Disney-Pixar’s Up! and The Princess and the Frog. There are also new licenses including X-Men and the National Football League.

Wrex the Dawg from WowWee is a robotic junkyard dog designed to entertain kids with many playful modes and controlled with a colorful junkyard inspired remote. This playful guard dog has mood swings, breakdown modes where you can fix him, and can even be programmed to play back a long set of moves. Wrex can “see” in front of him to handle guard dog duties with motion sensors which also help locate borders to a room. Designed for kids 8 and up, Wrex the Dawg can entertain for hours (or until the batteries run out).

New Trio of Spykee Robots

Spykee, distributed under the Erector name in the US, is launching three new versions of their robot. The new versions dubbed Cell, Miss and Vox, all feature iPod docks and the Miss and Vox feature response to voice commands while the Cell model can be used as a Bluetooth speaker for a mobile phone and can be remote controlled via mobile as well.
