Crayola’s New Drawing App for iPad

Written on Oct 25, 2011 by RuthJS and filed under Crayola, Griffin Technology, News

Crayola has partnered with Griffin Technology to create Crayola Paint & Create, an app for the iPad that allows kids to paint and color electronically. Using their fingers as paint brushes, colored pencils, crayons or markers, kids can explore more than 40 activities, including puzzles, mazes, dot-to-dots, and coloring. There are sound effects and animated pages which add to the fun, and artwork can be saved, e-mailed, uploaded, or printed. Additional pictures and activities will be available through ongoing updates.

President of Griffin Technology, Mark Rowan says the new app, “is an natural progression from our first app, Crayola ColorStudio HD,” and the new Paint & Create app can even support ColorStudio’s iMarker with the press of a button.

The iPad Crayola Paint & Create app is currently available from the App Store. It is being offered at the introductory price of $2.99.
