Tonka XT Ricochet RC Vehicles [Toy Fair 2011]

Tonka is always good for something new at Toy Fair and this year they didn’t disappoint. They’ve announced a new Tonka XT Ricochet line that includes the high-end Stunt Pro trick racer and the smaller Tricksters, perfect for indoor use.

The Stunt Pro is not only a high-power RC car that’s capable of jumps, tricks and the like, but it has a special trick up it’s sleeve…err, under its hood. The car can actually record up to three stunt routines – then play them back whenever the child commands. It’s accurate enough too that if you place the car back where you started recording, the car will run the identical route again, ending in nearly the exact same spot.

Like Ricochet models previously, the unit works on either side. Unlike the prior model though, the front and rear of the car are obvious, making the control of the car much easier for kids. The vehicle comes with a 2.4Ghz remote and 9.6NiMh rechargeable battery and charger.

Tonka XT Ricochet Stunt Pro will be available this Fall for $79.99.

Tonka also announced the Ricochet Tricksters, double-sided stunt vehicles that are smaller and great to use inside or out. The Tricksters also come with pre-programmed stunts like flip, spin and zig-zag, which can be executed using the trick trigger button on the remote. The remote is also used to charge the internal battery on the Tricksters.

Tonka XT Ricochet Tricksters will be available in three colors this Fall for $24.99.
