Tonka Chuck & Friends [Toy Fair 2011]

Tonka has an updated series of tech toys geared around their signature character for little kids, Chuck. The Chuck line is highlighted by the Race Along Chuck vehicle – which interacts with preschoolers in fun ways, including offering active play games like tag. Flip the Bounce Back Racer vehicle gives kids a fun way to start into the world of RC cars.

Race Along Chuck takes Chuck out of his normal work world and converts him into racing Chuck, complete with stripes and decals. By pressing the cab lights on Chuck, kids can start one of six games that are designed to be not only fun, but active – Chuck encourages preschoolers to play tag, red light green light and four others. When not in gaming mode, Chuck has 50 phrases and encourages kids to chase after him as he drives across the floor.

Also from the Chuck family comes Flip The Bounce Back Racer RC vehicle. Flip gets preschoolers started with an easy to use remote control vehicle that is thankfully indoor-play friendly. Flip is double sided so he’ll always keep going, chattering as he does with 20 phrases.

Race Along Chuck and Flip the Bounce Back Racer will both be available this fall for s suggested retail of $39.99 and $34.99 respectively.
