Simon Flash [Toy Fair 2011]

Hasbro has re-imagined the 80′s classic game Simon with their new modernized electronic version – Simon Flash. Simon Flash has several game modes, all keyed off the four light up blocks that kids, and adults, can move around to get the in the proper order.
The core Simon Flash game works much like the elder 80′s version. The colored tiles are placed in a row, then they flash in a four color sequence. The colors reset and players have to swap the blocks around to get them in the proper order again. The game gets progressively faster, much like the original.
The blocks are much smaller than the 80′s game though, and come with a little case that makes them very portable and car friendly. In our brief experience with the game, we came away impressed, Simon Flash has a lot of replay value in either single player or multi-player modes and it helps work the brain, we’re always big fans of making kids (and mom and dad) think!
Simon Flash will be available this fall for a suggested retail of $29.99.
