Nerf Super Soaker 2011 Models Revealed [Toy Fair 2011]

Written on Feb 17, 2011 by Brian and filed under Hasbro, Nerf

Nerf took the covers off their new 2011 line of Super Soakers and kids itching for outdoor play everywhere will surely be excited. There are five new water blasters, and most use the new water-clip system that keeps the action going without having to stop for refills.

The highlight from the line, in terms of tech, is the battery powered and clip-system compatible Nerf Super Soaker Thunderstorm Water Blaster.

The Thunderstorm is the first ever battery powered Super Soaker, firing a continuous stream of water without the need for pumping. They’re also light enough to use one in each hand, letting kids soak multiple combatants at once! Thunderstorm is also compatible with the new clip system, which allows for rapid reloads of water supply so there’s less stopping for refills.

Nerf also released four other traditional pump-action Super Soakers, ranging from the tiny Point Break to the 35-foot range Hydro Cannon.

The entire line of Nerf Super Soakers will be available this spring. The Thunderstorm will retail for $14.99, with one clip included. Additional clips retail for $3.99. The rest of the line will retail between $6.99 and $24.99.
