Uncle Milton Star Wars The Force Trainer and Darth Vader Robotic Arm Nearing Release

Written on Jul 25, 2009 by Brian and filed under Uncle Milton

According to product pages on Toys R Us, much of Uncle Milton’s Star Wars line is going to be available over the next few days. We played with both The Force Trainer and the Darth Vader Robotic arm at Toy Fair this year. The Trainer is fun for a while, but may be hard to justify for the $100 price point. The Robotic Arm runs $30 and lets kids snap together the parts, then use the arm to grip and hold objects. The Jedi Projector, Telescope and the other Star Wars branded science products are also shipping soon.

The Star Wars Force Trainer allows kids to control a Jedi Training Remote by using brainwave technology. Utilizing dry EEG sensor technology, a headset reads and interprets brainwaves and converts them into a linear measure of brain concentration. The deeper the mental focus, the greater affect kids will have on the Training Sphere. It moves up or down the cylinder based on your focus of attention. Star Wars character voices and sound effects guide and encourage kids, adding to the authenticity. MSRP $99.99

The Darth Vader robotic arm comes with 45 snap together parts that make an authentic replica of the real thing. Once assembled kids can manipulate the arm including extending the arm and maneuvering the fingers. MSRP $29.99

The Star Wars Jedi Projector is fun for the kids into the Clone Wars TV series. Captain Rex narrates 24 images that can be prohected onto any surface, like a wall or ceiling. Three film strips detail Clone Wars vehicle technology, including schematics and other details of each. We assume there will be other content packs available in the future, though Uncle Milton has not announced them yet. MSRP $29.99

The rest of the Uncle Milton Star Wars line includes:

  • Star Wars Mustafar Volcano Kit – teaches kids how to make lava flows at home with Star Wars figurines and setting. MSRP $24.99
  • Star Wars Dagobah Frog Habitat – kids mail away for tadpoles and watch (with a mini Yoda) them grow into frogs. MSRP $29.99
  • Star Wars Naboo Sea Creatures – just add water to hatch a batch of Triops, err, Naboo Sea Creatures. MSRP $29.99
  • Star Wars Optical Command Unit – this fun optics kit assembles into three different devices and simulates three holograms. MSRP $29.99
  • Star Wars Jedi Telescope – 3-in-1 unit that can be used as a telescope or kids can view 10 built-in Star Wars images. Yoda narrates how the world of Star Wars is similar to our own. MSRP $29.99
