Tyco Adds Stunt Psycho and Turbo Pro Wheelie Cycle to the RC Mix

We tend to avoid covering the standard RC vehicles as most of them don’t bring much unique to the table. When we saw these two new products from Tyco at Toy Fair though, we thought them worth mentioning. The Wheelie Cycle gives kids a motion activated controller and the Stunt Psycho offers flip over action and big shock-absorbent wheels for all-terrain driving.
Turbo Pro Wheelie Cycle
The Tyco Turbo Pro Wheelie Cycle delivers instant action with a one-touch, wheelie on-command button. It also features an innovative Turbotilt controller, which gives kids the power to trigger on-command wheelies, turns, jumps and a variety of stunts via motion activated controller. The motion-sensor controller is designed to look like a set of actual motorcycle handlebars, putting the driver in full control while mimicking an actual driving experience.
The Tyco Turbo Pro Wheelie Cycle is designed for kids 6 and up and will be available this spring for $39.99.
Stunt Psycho Vehicle
The most noticeable feature of the Stunt Psycho is of course the set of four rubberized spring action wheels. Only once you get this unit on the floor do you realize how fun those wheels can be. While the Wheelie Cycle wasn’t available for a test drive, we did get a little hands on time with the Stunt Psycho and it’s a great deal of fun. Tyco claims speeds of up to 9 MPH and while we didn’t have a radar gun, it certainly seemed to move very fast. The flexible wheels and the fins on top let the vehicle flip over, then back upright again, that is, if you’re a skilled driver. Stunt Psycho is all-terrain and can handle dirt, rocks and the other outdoor environments kids find. When on flat ground, a push of the turbo button brings even more speed.
The Stunt Psycho vehicle is designed for ages 8 and up and will be available this fall for $49.99.
