Hot Wheels Launch and Learn Announced

Oregon Scientific has announced the Hot Wheels Launch and Learn. This creative use of the Hot Wheels license combines typical Hot Wheels car launch action that only gets initiated when kids answer math problems properly. The system integrates with other Hot Wheels systems, connecting with their flexible orange track.
The Launch and Learn car trunk opens to reveal an LCD screen where kids can play eight different math games. The front of the car conencts to the track, so that when questions are answered properly, the cars get launched into action. A new Hot Wheels car is also included in the package.
To encourage using the system, the more questions kids answer properly, the faster the cars will be launched. For the targeted age group of 5 and up, more speed is probably a good incentive to work with the math games. Parents will also enjoy the idea, there are very few toys that combine car play with learning. Hot Wheels Launch and Learn operates on 3 AA batteries which are included.
Launch and Learn will be available this August at a retail price of $39.99.
