Hasbro Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Toys Announced

Written on Feb 18, 2009 by Brian and filed under Hasbro, News

We went on an extensive tour with Hasbro at Toy Fair to get a picture of their entire lineup. Of course they’re promoting toys from a few big movies, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen being one of them. There are several tech oriented toy releases that will be coming out this summer in conjunction with the movie including the Bumblebee Voice Mixer Helmet, Bumblebee Plasma Cannon and while it’s not really tech, it is very cool, the evil Constructicon Devastator which is made up of six smaller robots.

Transformers Movie Bumblebee Voice Mixer Helmet

Kids can pretend to be the fun-loving Bumblebee with this role-playing helmet. The toy allows kids to mix their voice through a “radio” just like Bumblebee. It also features realistic robot battle sounds and radio tune-in phrases to add authenticity to the play experience.

The Bumblebee Mixer Helmet is recommended for kids 5 and up and will be available May 30th for $39.99.

Transformers Movie Bumblebee Plasma Cannon

The ultimate companion to the helmet above,  the Bumblebee Plasma Cannon allows kids to strap on the blaster and defend the Earth against its evil invaders. The cannon features electronic lights and sounds and the end vibrates on firing.

The Plasma Cannon is designed for kids 4 and up and will be available May 30th at a suggested retail of $39.99.

Transformers Movie Constructicon Devastator

The largest and most powerful foe the Autobots will encounter in this summer’s Transformers movie is Devastator, a monstrous Decepticon robot made up of
six separate construction vehicles known as the Constructicons. This giant version of Devastator features lights and sounds and allows kids to faithfully recreate some the movie’s key scenes.

Devastator is designed for kids age 5 and up and will be available in August for $99.99.
