Hasbro Adds to Popular Furreal Friends Line

Hasbro used Toy Fair to launch a bunch of toys and girls will be thrilled to learn about their expanded Furreal Friends family. New this year will be Lulu, My Cuddlin’ Kitty, Lil’ Patter Pup, Cuddle Chimp and Luv Cub Panda. There will also be a new series of newborns which will be released this spring.
Lulu, My Cuddlin’ Kitty
Lulu, My Cuddlin’ Kitty is the most realistic feline to join the Furreal family. Lulu features soft white and marmalade fur and preens, cuddles, and mews just like a real kitty. Sensors know when she’s touched; gently rub her back and she will purr and meow to show that she is happy. Once she’s relaxed, Lulu will roll over onto her back, indicating it’s time to have her tummy rubbed. She also preens as licks her paw, then lifts it up to clean her face. We saw Lulu go through this routine and were pretty impressed. We’re pretty certain kids will be too.

Lil’ Patter Pup
Lil’ Patter Pup is a lot of fun in a smaller package. Still full of technology, Patter Put will do things like sniff his bone and make chewing noises when it’s shown to him. He will also respond to touch by walking and barking happily. Lil’ Patter Pup will come in two varieties. a Pomeranian or a tan, white, and grey Shih Tzu.

Cuddle Chimp
Cuddle Chimp is a chimpanzee that loves snuggle and cuddle, he even hugs back. Kids can feed him from a banana bottle or stroked along his back and when he’s ready for a hug he stretches out his arms. When hugged Cuddle Chimp snuggles into his owner’s arms and makes happy chimp sounds. He even enjoys being tickled, clapping his hands and making loud noises.

Luv Cub Panda
Luv Cub Panda works a lot like Cuddle Chimp, but is more about snuggling than being rambunctious. Luv Cub Panda loves to be hugged and will hug back while making panda sounds to show his delight. He also loves to play peek-a-boo and will move his arms up to his face to cover his eyes. Kids also get to feed the little guy, he loves to sip from his included bottle, but gets the hiccups if he’s fed too much.
