We spend most of our time on this site talking about tech toys for kids in the 3-10 year-old range, but there are some great options for toddlers too, including the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Smart Bounce & Spin Pony. Designed for kids 1-3 years, this tech pony connects to your TV via wireless receiver. Kids bounce and spin on the pony to interact with games and singalongs on the TV.

For roughly $60, there’s a lot to like about the Laugh & Learn Smart Bounce & Spin Pony. It works as a fun ride even without the game being turned on, so it has a little extra utility. More importantly, it has three educational tiers so kids are continually challenged until they outgrow the Spin Pony. At the youngest level, it teaches basics like animal identification, animal sounds and early words. At the latest stage the kids learn about weather, more advanced words and counting.

It is worth noting that there’s also a Bounce and Spin Zebra, but that version is low-tech, it doesn’t include the TV games. We highlight that fact so there’s no confusion as to which model you’re buying.
