Playskool Dance Cam Announced

Playskool has announced Dance Cam, which is designed to let preschoolers dance to songs while watching on-screen characters dance along in tandem. The Dance Cam is designed for kids age 3 and up and will ship this fall for $39.99.

Dance Cam comes loaded with over 20 favorite preschool songs such as Old McDonald and is compatible with MP3 and CD players for additional song choices. The camera connects to your TV, letting the kids seem themselves dance, alongside animated characters. The Dance Cam is not intended to be competitive; it’s for preschoolers to simply enjoy dancing and see themselves being silly on their own TV.

Kids can choose to dance along with the animated characters to the pre-loaded songs, learn a cool new move in one of four dance routines with a character, or freestyle to their own tunes by connecting a CD or MP3 player. The console is ready to play in two easy set up steps and comes complete with everything parents need to play their families favorite music by connecting an MP3 or CD player.
